How much should I pay a friend to give me personal training?

I have a co worker who has generously offered to give me personal training. She herself isn’t a licensed personal trainer but she knows a lot about it. What would be the appropriate amount to pay her?

I would reccommend £5 an hour and give her some gifts such as chocolates

Nothing. Just ask her if you could tag along with her to the gym and ask her for dietary advice. She is your friend right?

If it is going to be during her working hours you should pay around what he earns. If it is on a holiday, or some leisure time of her you can pay some less.

Well it think that you should ask her for a free trial then depending on how good she is maybe between £7 and £10 an hour unless you want payment by session then maybe £20 a session :) hope this helps

If shes your friend she might not want to accept a lot of money from you as she might feel odd about it; however, you should ask her and see what she says. Most likely she will tell you to give her whatever you want. You should ask her how much people usually pay her, and go from there.

    Hope this helped

Good question! I say nothing. Im a beachbody coach, I dont charge any of my clients a dime, and they typically see faster and more meaningful results than my friends who get a gym membership and a trainer.

Not to discredit them, but if they are licensed or trained, I wouldn’t pay a dime. They have training for that job for a reason, for good results and prevention of injury. I know a lot about headaches, but I don’t fancy myself a neurologist. Same thing in principle.
