What to expect from weekly personal training?

I’m going to get weekly personal training for 15 weeks - and I’m nervous. I’ve never played a sport and I’ve never been an athlete. I’ve never run a mile (but that’s my goal). I am a little overweight from my pregnancy.

I just don’t know what to expect - will it be bearable? Should I expect any (physical) results in those 15 weeks? And how many times a week would I have to work out in addition to the personal training? I can make it 2/week, but I have a toddler at home so it’s hard to go to the gym more often.

And yes, I know I should ask the trainer this, I’m just wondering right now.

cases - is not fat loss. It is actually water-loss which is quickly regained when the dieter

resumes normal eating. The fad diets are considered unhealthy. The common examples of Fad diets include the

Cabbage Soup Diet and the Grapefruit Diet.

Good Weight Loss Diet: The diet that helps losing weight in a positive manner is a good Weight Loss Diet.

It does not reduce the energy. A balanced low fat diet is considered as the best weight loss diet.

A balanced low fat diet is high in healthy carbohydrates, low in fat and moderate in protein.

A good Weight Loss Diet should be rich in whole grains, fruits, and vegetables, which are specially

recommended for weight control and preventing diseases such as cancer and heart disease.

I have an appt with a trainer on Monday and want to know what to expect. This is the initial consultation. I am looking at 40 weeks of training. Probably 3 sessions a week at one hour each.

Can you tell me about your personal training experiences?
How much money did you spend to get to where you wanted to be?
Was it worth it?

I want to lose 30 to 40 pounds…basically the baby belly left over from my 6 month old daughter.
